Mrs Imaobong Onuk

Imaobong Onuk was born in Nigeria in November 1976, She went to school in Nigeria and also in the UK. She is a registered Nurse with a passion for helping people to be well and live a meaningful life. Imaobong is the Trustee and President of the Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria (LDSN), a charity whose mission is to equip children and young adults with disabilities to get on in life. She is a mother of two and a wife to the executive chairman of ITU LGA in Akwa Ibom State.

Mr Promise Unwene

Born in Nigeria in 1969, Promise Unwene lived, went to school and worked in London for almost three decades. He has worked in Adult Social Care in Local Authorities in England and currently helps in running operations for a large charity in the city of London. He is a community activist and served as an education officer for Unison Community Voluntary Organisations (CVO). He is on the Ati Annang UK Executive Team as well as a father to three young adults. Promise has a keen interest in supporting children and young adults with disabilities to live fulfil life just like anyone else.

Mr Ubong Udoh

Ubong Daniel Udo, a communication specialist with a Master's in Poverty and Development, is a key advocate for inclusive development in Nigeria. Since 2004, he's been a radio producer at Akwa Ibom Broadcasting Corporation, focusing on disability rights through the show "Beyond Barriers." As the National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Association of the Blind (2019-2023), he played a crucial role in media advocacy. His leadership was evident as the Team Lead in a USAID-supported Inclusive Education Program (2015-2019) in Akwa Ibom State. Proficient in English and Ibibio, Ubong is a central figure in championing the rights of persons with disabilities.
