The Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria (LDSN) celebrated Career Day with the Advocacy for Persons with Albinism Network (APAN) on June 14, 2024, in Akwa Ibom State. Over 200 attendees enjoyed a vibrant career parade, drama presentations, fun activities, and dancing displays. Learners embodied roles such as lawyers, nurses, pilots, and more. The Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria celebrated its 4th anniversary on December 8th, 2023. The event was well-attended by dignitaries, members of the Civil Society Organizations, Schools, and well-wishers. The event was organized to mark the organization's four years of existence and included fundraising, cutting of the anniversary cake, fundraising, and awards. The highlight of the event was the presentation of the proposed permanent residence for LDSN learners and the need for an 18-seater bus as a means of transportation for learners.
