27th June 2024

The Learning Disabilities Society of Nigeria (LDSN) is pleased to report that our recent Career Day celebration in partnership with Advocacy for Persons with Albinism Network in Akwa Ibom State which was held on the 14th day of June. 2024 at the LDSN center was a success.

We had a great turnout, with over 200 people in attendance including our Learners and special guest.

Our Learners and albinism showcased their potential through a vibrant career parade, embodying roles such as lawyers, farmers, accountants, soldiers, pastors, nurses, air hostesses, pilots, teachers, and engineers. This parade is a powerful reminder that, given the opportunity, they can achieve anything they set their minds to.

The event featured a Drama presentation, fun activities, a Dancing display, and a lively atmosphere.
